Terms of use
Last updated: September 12, 2026
This English version is provided for convenience: the French version is the legally binding one.
These terms apply as soon as you create a Hirvo account. If you subscribe to Pro, the terms of sale apply as well.

1. Purpose
These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern the use of Hirvo, a service published by [full name or company name] (see the legal notice). You accept them when you create your account.
2. The service
Hirvo is a job search assistant. In particular, it lets you:
- find jobs posted on third-party job sites, based on your criteria, or add your own;
- have them analysed and scored by artificial intelligence against your profile;
- track your applications;
- get suggestions to tailor your resume to a job and to prepare your interviews.
Hirvo never applies for you and never sends any message on your behalf. Hirvo is not affiliated with any job site or employer, and does not guarantee that you will get an interview or a job.
The free plan and the Pro plan, with their limits, are described on the Pricing page and in My account. Some features are subject to usage caps that protect the service from abuse, for example a maximum number of jobs added by hand per day.
3. Your account
- One account is for one person. You sign up with a valid email address that belongs to you, and you confirm it.
- Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has access to it, change it and let us know.
- You must be at least 16 years old. If you are a minor, subscribing to Pro requires the consent of your legal guardian.
4. What you agree not to do
- get around your plan’s limits, for example by creating several accounts;
- extract the service’s data in bulk, or use it through bots or scripts;
- disrupt the service, or try to access other users’ accounts or our systems;
- upload unlawful content, or another person’s resume without their consent;
- resell the service or what it produces, or use it for any illegal activity.
5. AI-generated content
Scores, summaries, resume suggestions and interview preparations are generated automatically. They may be incomplete or inaccurate: review them before using them. You remain solely responsible for what you send to a recruiter; in particular, only add real experience and skills to your resume.
6. Job offers
Job offers come from third-party sites or are added by you. We don’t write them and cannot guarantee that they are accurate, up to date or still open. Each offer links to its original posting, which alone is authoritative.
7. Your content
You remain the owner of what you upload: resume, profile, notes. You allow us to process it only as far as needed to run the service, including by sending it to our artificial intelligence providers, as explained in the privacy policy. You guarantee that you have the right to use what you upload.
8. Intellectual property
Hirvo — its brand, logo, software, design and texts — is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use it for as long as you have an account. Any unauthorised reproduction or reuse is prohibited.
9. Availability
We do our best to keep Hirvo available, but interruptions may happen: maintenance, a provider outage, a change on a source site. Automatic job search depends on third-party sites, which may change or restrict access at any time.
10. Liability
We are liable for the proper performance of the service under general law. We are not liable for decisions you make based on the analyses provided, for the content of jobs posted by third parties, or for the consequences of using the service in breach of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
11. Suspension and closing your account
- You can delete your account at any time, from My account. Deletion is immediate and permanent; if you have a Pro subscription, it is cancelled at the same time.
- In the event of a serious breach of these Terms (fraud, abuse, security attacks), we may suspend or close your account. Except in an emergency, we will first warn you by email so that you can explain yourself.
- If we ever had to shut Hirvo down, we would let you know at least 30 days in advance, so that you can retrieve your data.
12. Personal data
How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For any significant change, we will notify you by email or in the application at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you disagree, you can delete your account before that date.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, write to us first at [contact email address]: most issues are solved that way. If you are a consumer, you can also use the consumer mediator named in the terms of sale free of charge, and bring the matter before the competent court under the rules that apply to consumers.
